Why I want to attend Grad School

Why do you want to spend all your time energy and money on Grad school? My neighbor asked as we were sitting down to our delicious margaritas. That question has been haunting me since my father told me that it was time for grad school after my one year review at INS went so well. I feel like grad school is either a thing you do when you are super comfortable with your life and want to take the next step or you just graduated school and you need more time to figure out what you want to do. I guess I fall into the former but I don’t feel comfortable at all. I have been at my job for like a year and a half now and I feel content and happy but I wouldn’t say comfortable.

Now I am faced with writing a one to two page Personal Statement about why I want to go to grad school!! Why?!? I am applying aren’t I cant I just come and explain it to you in person? geez what do I even say. I am great at design and want to get better. I dont know for now i will just leave this here but when I come up with my statement then I will also post that here
